Paul Ahlstrom
Managing Director

Paul Ahlstrom, Managing Director and co-founder of Alta Ventures Mexico a venture capital fund focused in Mexico. In 2000, Mr. Ahlstrom co-founded vSpring Capital, Utah’s leading venture capital fund. In 2007, Mr. Ahlstrom co-founded Alta Growth Capital, based in Mexico City and Kickstart Seed Fund based in Salt Lake City.

Rogelio de los Santos
Managing Director

Rogelio de los Santos, Managing Director, is a Mexican national and founding partner of Alta Ventures Mexico. Mr. de los Santos is a serial entrepreneur with 18+ years of experience in diverse areas, including fostering entrepreneurship, mining, logistics, education and entertainment. Because of this experience, Mr. de los Santos was brought on by vSpring Capital as a Venture Partner and Entrepreneur in Residence. Before joining vSpring Capital, Mr. de los Santos was Founder and CEO of Xtreme Cinemas, a cinema chain focused on small and mid-size cities in Mexico.

Diego Serebrisky
Managing Director

Prior to joining Alta Ventures, Diego collaborated with Advent International, a global private equity fund. He spent 12 years in their Mexico City office, and then relocated to Bogota, Colombia, where he launched the office in 2011. While at Advent, Diego focused on the whole investment process including new deals analysis, investment monitoring and divestments. He participated in more than 13 investments in different sectors including financial services, business services, pharmaceutical, retail and technology.

Micheal Wolfgramm
Managing Director

Mike Wolfgramm joined the Alta Ventures team in January 2013 as Managing Director, bringing with him deep expertise in a wide range of areas, with special emphasis in high tech. He was the Chief Technology Officer at Ancestry.com. In this role, he was responsible for orchestrating the product development and delivery of the company’s global technologies and services including www.ancestry.com, www.genealogy.com, www.rootsweb.ancestry.com, www.myfamily.com and www.familytreemaker.com. In addition, Wolfgramm had responsibility for the companies Web Operations, IT and IS organizations.
